While six persons are being treated in the hospital, three of them are in danger for life.
Police Director Zoran Brdjanin has said that, according to police information, around 3:30 on August 12th, 34-year-old with the initial V.B. From Cetinje has fired guns in the direction of a family whose members were tenants at his home in the Medovina settlement.
In this case, using the firearm, the hunting rifle has taken the lives of two children, one eight and the other 11 years old and injured their mother, who died in the hospital from his wounds. The shootout has seriously injured a police officer, the police director has declared, adding that what motivated the V.B. is unknown. To accomplish this act, he himself has been deprived of life.
In accordance with the government's decision, mourning days are Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
The “in mourning days, in accordance with the Law for State Symbols, flags will be in half apiece on all state organs and public institutions”, the announcement said.
As reported in the report, cultural and entertainment programmes in public environments will not be developed in mourning days and music will not be broadcast in hotel environments.
This is the deadliest event in recent decades in Montenegro as it occurred at the peak of the tourist season. / REL
