Ferizaj's foundation prosecutor is continuing action in Brezovica again.
The news has been confirmed by the Prosecutor of the Founding Prosecutor in Ferizaj, Rasim Maloku.
He has said that this action has been under way since morning and that it is aimed at identifying construction in this section.
“Operation for identifying and recording weekends in Brezovica is continuing today with the same institutions as on the date 04.08.22”, Maloku said by not providing additional details.
Memo In the case of “Brezovica” in March of this year, seven people have been arrested, three former Environmental Ministry officials, Space Planning and Infrastructure, and four people, owners of private companies.
Even in December 2021 and January 2022, Kosovo Police have arrested persons involved in the case called “Brezovica”
In late December, ten people have been arrested, including the former head of the Shrpca municipality, simultaneously Serbian List official Bratislav Nikollic, on charges of misuse of the official position.
Authorities suspect Nikollic has benefited up to a million euros for illegally issued permits for the construction of facilities in Brezovica, in the Sterpca municipality.
Serbian List Deputy Chairman Milan Radoicic is wanted by authorities in Kosovo for allegedly involved in witness intimidation in the case known as “Brezovica”.
Court and order authorities in Kosovo, in the month of January, had announced that they have frozen close to 6m euros, allegedly illegally benefited by defendants involved in the case known as “Brezovica”.
Brezovica is considered one of the largest winter tourism centres in Kosovo and is known for the ski centre.
It is located in the Shtrpce municipality and belongs in the “National Park. Sharri”
At the time of the December arrests, judicial authorities have said most of the buildings in Brezovica have been illegally built.
According to them, if it proves that they were built without permission, all properties, including villas, will be temporarily seized.
