COMM SST: Citizens use electricity rationally

Kosovo System, Transition, Energy Market Operator - COMM STT sh.A. reports that as a result of the imbalance between domestic electricity consumption and the energy provided for coverage of consumption by responsible operators in the market, there have been images/repressions highlighted to the Interconcernal Europe System over weeks and months [...]
“Co-ordination Centre for Continental Europe under ENTSO-E (SwissGrid) as well as the Continental Europe Regional Group (RGCE) ENTSO-E body has been warning COST/Kosovo as a regulatory Zone, for the immediate interruption of deviations to the European intercontacting network<2>, not KOSST.
And so, COSTT suggests electricity consumption in Kosovo in this period (July 2022) is brought by 337 MW down to the 792 cargo pit MW, while the overall generation of electricity in the country is currently around 540MW.
According to COSTT, in line with legal responsibilities they are obliged to take all actions to balance the system depending on consumption, generation and import provided by responsible parties within the Kosovo Regulatory Zone not to violate the safety of parallel operation with the European intercontroversial network.
“Consequently, with the aim of balancing the system in terms of supply non-sufficientness under measures and operational procedures that are provided with the Network Code, COST has guided from today the beginning of the implementation of supply restrictions as a last-scale, to stabilize the situation, with the goal of maintaining the integrity of the system and contributing to the balance of Kosovo's Elekterergeic System and the Intercontaining System of Continent”, the COST notes.
COMM The SST says the state of the energy crisis facing Kosovo's Elekternergy system as reflecting the global energy crisis requires understanding and mobilization of all factors so along with the commitment the responsible institutions are making, the contribution of citizens is also advised by using electricity as rationally as possible.
