The president of the United States of America, Joe Biden, has written that the price of oil is on the decline.
According to him, despite Russian President Vladimir Putin's global pressure on oil, causing it to be found in the pockets of citizens worldwide, the US succeeded, releasing a million barrels of oil a day from the reserve, causing the price to decrease.
“Putin is still waging its war in Ukraine ʹ putting pressure on global oil supply and families can still feel it. But we managed to free a million barrels of oil a day from our reserve and gathered our global partners to free their reserves. Now prices are in record drop”, Biden wrote on Facebook.
We remember that the president stayed weeks ago in the Arab states and asked those who increased their fuel supply.
Otherwise, oil prices continued to fall Thursday, where they sat down under $90 for barrels for the first time since the start of the war in Ukraine, as concerns about slowing the global economy disturbed investors.
Just two months ago, oil prices exceeded $120 per barrel, helping to increase the average national price of gasoline to about $5 per gallons.
While the price of oil on the stock exchange follows, in Albania it has not yet reflected, causing the price to continue to remain high and affordable for citizens' pockets.
