American expert for the Western Balkans, Alon Ben Meir, has made a comment until Kosovo is willing to implement reciprocity with Serbia for license plates and IDs.
To make any agreement between the parties on this issue, besides normal border procedures, it would be short-term in implementation.
“I believe that any agreement requiring a change of car plates that pass between Kosovo and Serbia and the demand for citizens on both sides to obtain temporary travel documents when they enter each other, in the best case, would be short-lived, according to what we have seen so far”, he has written on Twitter, broadcasts Klan Kosovo.tv.
Kosovo has postponed establishing reciprocity with Serbia until August following an international community request.
