A few days ago, I learned from an accredited ambassador to Kosovo that the Government of Kosovo has had two offers for solar energy investments from private investors on the table.
One bid was for 400. After that, the other is about 200 FALSEs.
The two investors have not asked for promotional tariffs or any unreasonable benefits, rather, the prices offered have been very attractive.
Given that solar panels can be put into operation very quickly, if the government were open to these investments, we would have 600 today. More in addition to local production capacities.
But unfortunately, both projects have been rejected.
Why?
