He has said that in the last 7 months alone, 400 nurses have left Kosovo.
The man in KTV's interactive said that since post-war nurses are exempt from any decision-making.
Duraku has said that citizens are satisfied with the work and performance of nurses on a daily basis.
What concerns us is total neglect by our institutions. We have constantly deposited our legitimate demands in all Kosovo institutions. In the last 7 months alone, 400 nurses have left the country. Not even nurses who released it through other channels”, he said.
He has said there are, overall, 8 thousand nurses employed throughout Kosovo.
Duraku has said that the interest of students in the nurses has increased, but that according to him, this interest is related to obtaining visas for European countries.
According to him, the main reasons are economic ones. He says there are nurses who have been forced to take a second job just to meet their needs.
We've been repeating the same requirements since 2018, starting with a dignified salary. Our demands have never been granted. We've had great hopes at the current minister. But we are disappointed with him. Only one meeting we had with Minister Rifat Latifi. He's been honest and he's told he can't help us with anything”, he said.
to Duraku has said that the disciplinary commissions are fed up by nurses because of the managerial penalties.
He has said that a nurse is paid only 18 euros for a night shift, and other communities 1,000 percent more.
According to him, Kosovo is taking over the efficiency of the nurses' exporter.
He said it only takes 500 nurses to fill the gap at QKUK alone.
