There is much evidence of how poor intestine health can affect your general health.

There are 100 trillion microbes in the intestines of an average person, ten times as many as cells in the human body and have a significant impact on the entire organism.

Experts discover five health problems that arise when the intestines are out of balance.

1. Bad Humor

Medical doctor Uma Naidoo points out that the intestine is connected to the brain, as 90% of serotonin receptors are in the intestine. Doing so can affect your mental health.

“in the relatively new field of nutrition therapy, we help patients to understand how health and intestine food can positively or negatively affect their moods,” discover naidoo.

She explains that with some antidepressive drugs, such as the selective inhibitors of serotonin, the most common side effects are related to intestines, which include temporary nausea, diarrhea, and gastroinstinal problems.

“There is an anatomical and two-sonic communication between the intestines and the brain through the vagus nerve. The bowel-boggling axis offers us a better understanding of the connection between diet and disease, including depression and anxiety”, naidoo finds.

2. Immmological Problems

There is much evidence that an unwholesome intestine can seriously damage the immune system.

Intestines play an important role in many health functions, one of which is regulating the proper functioning of the immune system.

According to research, changes in intestinal germs can cause immune disorder, leading to autoimmune disorders.

3. Inflammatory processes

Experts warn that if the bowel function is not balanced, different inflammation can occur.

Dietologist Gail Cresci points out that bacteria in the intestines help metabolize nutrients from food that we train.

“These bacteria have metabolic mechanisms for digestive and fermentation of fibers, and in response they create useful byproducts that we know are antiinflammatory,” explains Cresci.

It warns that in humans whose diet is not optimial, for example, it does not contain sufficient, fat - rich fibers and sugar, microbioma in the intestine changes.

Rather than producing useful metabolic byproducts, bacteria produce substances that are not useful. This could cause inflammation,” stresses Cresci.

4. Too much body weight

The bacteria in your intestine can directly affect your weight. One study found that specific metabolics found in blood plasma samples and waste were directly linked to obesity.

“This means that future research should focus more on how the composition of intestine bacteria can be changed, in order to reduce the risk of obesity and metabolic and cardiovascular diseases associated”, explains Marju Orho-Mellander, professor of genetic epidemiology.

5. Sleep Problems

There is increased evidence that the composition of your ovum microbioma is linked to how well you sleep,” points out dietologist Fatma Badri.

Intestine health can affect your sleep, and poor sleep can have a similar effect on your intestine health.

The sleep loss “may affect the health of digestion by increasing the risk of obesity, type 2 diabetes, and gastrointhestial disease”, Badri warns, adding that scientists have even discovered that poor sleep quality is related to heart problems.
