About 40 thousand Kosovars today toward the coast, long columns on Nation Street

The last days of August have marked an extraordinary influx of entry into Albania of Kosovo citizens with the Albanian coastline as a destination.

Kilometric sands have been observed in the early hours of Saturday morning in the Morine Kuka segment of the Nation Road, at the Drini Black Bridge.

Thousands of Kosovo citizens with their vehicles and buses are heading to the Albanian coast.

According to data from border authorities Saturday morning, they have crossed the Morina border checkpoint, about 40 thousand Kosovars, while in the first 25 days of August, over 400,000 Kosovo citizens have entered Albania. /oranews/
