Sancitised smuggler politician representing Kosovo Serbs

This is the profile of Milan Radojici, deputy head of the Serbian List ʹ the main party of Serbs in Kosovo, who enjoys support from official Belgrade.

Kosovo's Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Svecla, has said that Radojic, 44, is one of the leaders of smuggling groups attacking police in northern Kosovo where Prime Minister Albin Kurti's government is trying to curb smuggling.

Radoic himself has not commented on these claims, while his party has rejected them.

Radoic has twice escaped arrest by Kosovo Police, fleeing Kosovo.

In early July, he was back in the spotlight. At that world, he published a video from the Leposaviqi suburb, north of Kosovo, with the message: “I am here, I'm back and you know what this key means.”

Radociq did not answer REL's request for an interview. REL has attempted to contact him via the Serbian List.

He decides everything from the director to the goalkeeper. No goalkeeper is hired without asking Radoichi”, says a REL conversationor from North Mitrovica, who has wanted to remain anonymous for security reasons.

According to him, Radoichi in northern Kosovo experiences as “fear and horror”.

This, primarily, applies to persons from the Serbian List, says REL's co- talker, but also to others.

According to him, Radoicic has become the key “” in 2016/2017.

In October 2017, following local elections in Kosovo, Radoic was filmed in the company of then director of the Office for Kosovo in the Government of Serbia, Marko Djuric, and Serbian List Chairman Goran Rakiq.

Drinking champagne, Djuric has called Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq. After congratulateing him on the election outcome, Djuric has begun calling: “Aco, Srbine” (Aco, Serbian) What made the viral video.

Radoic has become deputy chairman of the Serbian List in 2018. His mandate was extended to July 2021.

The Serbian list was formed in 2013, with the support of official Belgrade, and is close to the Serbian Progressive Party KP in Serbia, whose leader is Vuciq.

The Serbian list has power in Kosovo's central and local institutions.

In the Kosovo Assembly, she has ten deputies, while in the Government of Kosovo she leads the Ministry for Communities and Kthim. The Serbian list has been a partner of Kosovo governments since its establishment.

This subject, as well as official Belgrade, does not recognise Kosovo's independence, which was declared in 2008.

Under the European Union's mediation, Pristina is holding negotiations for normalising relations with Belgrade, which should result in a legally binding agreement.

The Serbian list supports the process of normalising relations and agreements agreed on in Brussels' dialogue.

Radoiciq, along with engagement in politics, also has businesses in the field of construction and hotel management and generates millions.

Radoic has been elected deputy chairman of the Serbian List a few months after the assassination of Serbian politician from Kosovo, Oliver Ivanovic.

The leader of the Freedom, Democracy and Justice Initiative, Ivanovic, was killed on 16 January 2018, in front of his party building in northern Mitrovica. Executioners and masterminds of the assassination are not known yet.

After Ivanovic's murder, B reporting network The IERN has published its assessment of Radocicin, saying Ivanovic has described it as a key figure and true holder of power in northern Kosovo. He has named Radoichi “the informal centre of power”.

“The power centre is not in the municipality building, but the municipality building is under this other informal centre of power, and that's the location of the” policy, Ivanovic said in October 2017.

The president has mentioned Milan Radocicin as my concern... he takes it as an example of a Serb survivor in Kosovo”, Ivanovic said that the world.

Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has named Radociqi as Serbia's defender in Kosovo on several occasions, including in September 2017.

In the Kosovo Prosecution's indictment of Ivanovic's murder, Radoic is mentioned as leader of a criminal group, but he has never been charged directly because he has been on the run.

On November 25th of 2018, Radoic has issued a statement saying that “has not been Ivanovic's closest friend”. He, too, has claimed to have nothing to do with his murder.

“Pristina wants to get rid of me, because I know that I, along with my friends and my brothers, are among the few that we can challenge in their intention to invade and absorb Kosovo's north and Metohija and subdue the Serbian people”, Radovic said at the time.

The order for Radojchi's arrest has withdrawn without any explanation in March 2021 after which he has returned to Kosovo.

In December 2021, the US Finance Ministry has put Milan Radocicin, Zvonko Veselinovic, his brother, Zarko, and ten other related persons on the list.

The clarification is said to have been deputy to Zvonko Veselinovic and leader of an organised criminal group, when Veselinovic has withdrawn for a while.

Also, it has been said that Radoic has been responsible for smuggling weapons into Veselinovic's organised crime group. Radojic has not been declared on these charges.

According to the US Finance Ministry, Veselinovic's criminal group is involved in a broad bribery scheme, along with Kosovo and Serbian security officials, which facilitate the illegal trade in goods, money, narcotics and weapons between Kosovo and Serbia.

Following the proclamation of sanctions from the US, the Serbian List has said that the groundless <x0 specifications against prominent Serbs from the north are a co-ordinated campaign aimed at weakening the unity and protection of our people in these” areas.

Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has often defended Radoiciqi and spoke of it as “the Serb” in northern Kosovo.

The last time Radociqi commented was in early July, when he was asked what his declaration of return to Kosovo could say.

“E where would Milan Radoicq be, who is from Kosovo? Where he is, it's his private matter. This has nothing to do with the state”, Vuciq said on July 6th.

Radociq was born in Gjakova, a town in southwestern Kosovo.

Vuciq, in November 2018, referring to the data of Serbia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security Information Agency, has said Radojic has not participated in the liquidation of Oliver Ivanovic.

Millan Radoicicic, of course, is neither academic, painter nor writer. Therefore, along with all the other things he can't always boast about and none of us are happy he has been the first in protecting North Mitrovica”, Vuciq told Serbia's Radio-Television.

Vuciq, as well, has said that Radojciq “has passed the polygraph for the murder of Oliver Ivanovic” and that “has shown that he has not participated in organisation, helping or promoting”.

According to Serbia's president, Radoic has been the number one man in the defence of northern Mitrovica, in terms of the protection of the Serb people, who have resisted Albanians.

In September 2021, Vuciq said he never spoke to Serbian List Deputy Chairman Milan Radojic.

I have never talked to Milan, unless he was present at meetings, where I conveyed messages to people from Kosovo and people from the Serbian List have been sitting there”, Vuciq said at a news conference in Nis.

The controversial deputy chairman of the Serbian List has attended several meetings Kosovo Serb representatives have had with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, in Belgrade.

The last of them was on March 22nd, when Radocic was sitting next to Vuciki. At the time, he was under US sanctions.

What do Kosovo authorities say about Radociqi?

Kosovo's Minister of Internal Affairs, Jedal Svecla, has said in an interview for Radio Free Europe on July 18th that “Radovicicq is at the helm of smugglers attacking Kosovo Police”.

Members of the Kosovo Police have been attacked several times this year, during their efforts to prevent smuggling to the north.

According to Minister Svecla, there are several smuggling groups in the north, closely co-ordinated by Serbia's authorities, while one of the leaders of these structures is Radojic.

The Serbian list has reacted, saying Svechla's accusations are groundless.

Several months ago, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said Radojic is illegal in the Republic of Kosovo.

That Milan Radoicic has had contact with individuals from Pristina and testifies, apparently even a photograph published by the research portal in Serbia, Crick, in October 2019.

According to this portal, the photo was taken in the summer of 2017 in Montenegro's Budva, during negotiations on forming the Kosovo government, led by Ramush Haradinaj, and in which Pacolli has become foreign minister.

Later, Pacolli said that the event happened by chance and that they did not discuss politics. Pacolli, also, said he doesn't know Radichi, but only Rakiqi.

The Kosovo government, led by Ramush Haradinaj, was voted in September 2017, and the votes of Serbian List deputies have been crucial. In exchange, the Serbian List has taken up the post of deputy prime minister and three ministries.

In December 2017, Haradinaj, talking about the “programme Slobodno Srpske” of the Media Centre in Caglavica, has said there is good co-operation with Serbian List colleagues in the Government of Kosovo and that there is co-operation with people in the north.

I believe he too has a role. He is someone from the north who is questioned about everything, and I speak to him”, Haradinaj said.

When Radoic was elected deputy chairman of the Serbian List in June 2018, three months later, he and other members of the Serbian List have met with Haradinaj in his cabinet.

But, in March 2019, Haradinaj has declared that he has not been in contact with Radojic since he escaped from the Kosovo judicial authorities.

He, that world, has told reporters that he and Radojciqi once visited then-Kosovo President Hashim Thaci.

I want to remember that, together with President Thaci, in his office, I met with Radoiciqi”, Haradinaj said.

In May 2019, Haradinaj, speaking of T7 Television in Kosovo, has dismissed Thaci's accusations of secret meetings with Radociqi and has claimed that he has only met with him as Serbian List official.

Radocic himself has talked about his contacts with Kosovo officials. In March 2019, he told TV “Klan Kosova” in Pristina he met with Thaci and Haradinaj.

I've met with both of you and I've met others. They have promised Serbs towers and cities, so that they will be on their side, not on the other side. But, we cannot violate Serbia's vital interests”, Radojic has said.

Milan Radociq continues to be on the list of fugitives, as there is still an active arrest sheet because of his alleged involvement in the “Brezovica” case.

In this case, some people are suspected of misusing official office in connection with providing construction permits at Kosovo's Brezovica Skiing Centre. Radoic allegedly “has intimidated witnesses during the 148x1> criminal procedure.

Radoic has said there is no connection to the charges against him and that “false charges” cannot be expelled from Kosovo forever.

He is also known for the judicial authorities in Serbia since 2011, when against him and Zvonko Veselinovicki has filed an indictment, under which the two were suspected of embezzlement 32 trucks of the Hippo Alpé company Adria Lizing.

Both have been acquitted in 2016.

In July 2019, Radicic and Veselinovic have also been acquitted in Serbia of allegations of illegal scraps of gravel.

Meanwhile, Radociq continues working in Serbia. He's co-owner of the INKOP construction company from the Krkija éprey with the Veselinovic brothers in which he has 40 percent of his ownership.

INCOP has also acquired the Novi Pazar construction companies Pazar and Betonerka Aleksinac.

INKOP owns, too, the DollyBell hotel company, which runs the Grey Hotel in Copaonic.

The REL has failed to locate Milan Radojici's current location.

According to the latest available data, by 2019, it has had a settlement registered in Kraleva City in central Serbia.
