France has evacuated more than 16,000 people due to fires after the flames spread near residential areas. Authorities have evacuated camps and tourists.
In southern Spain, also more than 3,200 people fled the fires in the Mija Mountains.
While Portugal's fires seem to have been put under control at the moment. More than 1,000 deaths have been attributed to the heat in Portugal and Spain in recent days.
Authorities say more than 3 times the forest has been burned in comparison with past years.
The fight against fires has taken life from a pilot whose plane crashed in Portugal, while two others lost their lives in Greece when their helicopter fell to sea.
