Rashman Jasharaj warns general strike before September

The United Education, Science and Culture Union (SBASHK) announced on Monday that the current government is not taking into account the requirements to dialogue, until it warned “strong union reactions” before September, when the start of the school year was set before.

In a media communiqué, the head of the SBASK, Nundman Jasharaj, said that all school institutions, administrations in municipalities, but other employees will be on general strike from September, until “Government Kurti changes access and realises that it must sit with unions to find solutions”.

The head of the SBASK confirmed that letters and legal mediators were sent to the Government to meet, but that Prime Minister Albin Kurti refused.
