Putin also decorated with Russia's “Heroj” two generals after the region's capture.
Russia announced Sunday that it now controls the entire Luhansk region following the capture of the important strategic city, Lysychansk.
Moscow has said that the special military <x0->operation” -- as Ukraine's invasion calls it -- aims at “the liberation” of eastern Ukraine by the Ukrainian “85>. The eastern region has become the military's main focus following its initial failure to capture capital Kiev. /Periscopi/
