President Stevo Pendarovski called on all protest organisers who are taking place these days in northern Macedonia to take responsibility and continue to exercise their democratic right to protest with dignity and without violence.
At the same time, as reported in announcing his cabinet, he strongly condemns maintaining and using firearms from civilians and citizens of the country, who are not members of the security organs.
“Using violence and promoting violence for political purposes is unacceptable. The event that took place yesterday in Skopje should not be repeated because there is nothing more important than the calm and security of all citizens”, Pendarovski points out.
Police yesterday, as President Pendarovski says, have had a long-time reaction preventing major clashes.
“expects all persons involved in yesterday's incident to be kept in detention and sanctioned in the short term”, Pendarovski notes. / A LAT
