Parliament gives green light to Pristina-Durra railway

The study of the railway's feasibility with Albania has been introduced as a dayline point through a procedure motion proposed by the Parliamentary Group of the Vetevendosje Movement and approved by Kosovo Assembly MPs. In presenting the initiative for the Bill for the Study of feasibility Study and the idea draft for the Durres-Pristina railway line, Environment, Space Planning and Infrastructure Minister Libun Aliu has said this project will cost 1m and 980 thousand euros.

Democratic League of Kosovo MP Driton Selmanaj has asked Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure Minister Lieburn Aliu whether he is a traitor to Kosovo, now when he is demanding the Parliament's vote for the draft bill on the agreement to release the Pristina-Durra Railway feasibility.

Selmanaj has said this issue was the point of the Washington Agreement signed on September 4th 2020, when the country's prime minister was Avdullah Hoti of LDK.
