President Vjosa Osmani during his official visit to Slovenia has decorated with the Slovenian troops' Presidential Military Medal under the NATO/S peacekeeping mission. KFOR in Kosovo.

They have been decorated with motivation for contributing peace and security under the NATO mission in the Republic of Kosovo since 2000.

“I am here today in front of you to thank you and to be decorated for the human contribution, courage and soul, witnessed over two decades by Slovenian troops who have served and serve in Kosovo. The Military Presidency medal is given to these soldiers, who are not only peacekeepers but also loyal growers of Kosovo's excellent friendly relations with Slovenia”, has stressed President Osmani.

According to her, each of the 9417 Slovenian peacekeepers has served over the past two decades in Kosovo has a special contribution to peace and stability, so they will be remembered forever by the people of Kosovo, who remain forever grateful.

At this ceremony, President Osmani has stressed that from Slovenia, the Kosovo issue received strong support over the years, so it called for this support to continue even in the process of Kosovo's NATO membership.

I have full confidence that our army can benefit greatly from your army's experience. I wish that in addition to co-operation in the military field, in the near future our forces will see along with your forces in NATO. This alliance is our goal and strategic interest”, President Osmani has stressed at the Slovenian peacekeepers' decoration ceremony.
