Mucaj in main role in film “Everybody call me Redjo”

This film is Deari's debut film, with respect to long-term films supported by the Northern Macedonia State Agency.

Africa Mucaj, in a statement for RTK.liver, has said he feels lucky for the confidence given in this project.

I can actually say that I feel lucky about this belief that director Iber Deari gave me, but I can't deny that a big challenge awaits me before, and that's why I'm already taking good care of it “Rexon, all calling it”. We're dealing with a very complex character and I can say that we're working very hard so that we can bring a role and a beautiful and ambitious movie to the Albanian public, and not just”, Mucaj said.

Mucaj says he feels optimistic and believes that along with director Deari and the “Redjo-s” team will bring a beautiful movie.

I'm actually feeling a lot of energy, and I'm looking forward to hearing the sound of the valve and the word action in this project. I love this role, this movie, it's a very greedy space, but I know there's a big deal ahead of us. Without modesty, I think and I believe that together with Ibro and the team of Redjo we will bring a beautiful movie” he said.

Wishing we could deal with this big project, Mucaj said that “Every body call Redjo” will be his next challenge. And I don't think he's going to disappoint those who are going to call me Rajo, it's Mucaj.

Also, director Iber Deari said he is happy that the work on this project is doing very well and almost everything is ready.

The film's <x0me is social and very current, in a fig village like the village of Sllupkovo, from difficult economic conditions, there's the big escape of young people and workers, in this village of many people of a very old age and they need someone to take care of them, so the only person left to help is Rajo, and everyone is looking for Rajo. He wherever he goes reveals us from a particular story inside the village of”, Deari says.

He added that the main role will be played by prominent Kosovo actor Africa Mucaj, while other actors will be discovered over the next few days, totaling 24 characters. Film screenings are expected to begin in August 2022, and the premiere is certainly due next year.

The project has been worked on for more than four years, the team has been prepared to start even earlier, but the pandemic has greatly influenced the slowdown of project implementation, the film will be filmed in the village of Slupcan (Leakova municipality).
