In the first six months of this year alone, 109 doctors have left their jobs to continue practicing the profession abroad.
The chairman of the Kosovo Medical Oda, Plerat Sejdiu, has warned of mass departure of doctors from the country.
He says that unlike last year, there are increases of doctors leaving Kosovo.
For this year's “over the first six months have left Kosovo 109 doctors, by the end of the year it will certainly be number 200. During the year 2021, about 160 have fled, unlike this six - month - old, with a very high increase in the number of doctors”, Sejdiu said.
Sejdiu has counted some of the main causes that doctors are leading to the decision to leave the country.

Over the past four years alone, over 400 Kosovo doctors have left the country to work in the European states.
And health professionals have already stated that urgent measures must be taken for this phenomenon in order to reduce the number of doctors from Kosovo.
