The minister said these students for many years could not verify their diplomas for employment and continuing studies, because most of them have fallen prey to fraud.
Among other things, she said that for this reason, months ago she has asked the Kosovo Police's Agency for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption to conduct investigations on the issue.
“As the minister we have made a number of documents available to the police with the aim of conducting investigations. Meanwhile, during the day, through a letter I have requested from this Kosovo Police Unit that meets legislation in force to inform me of the investigative process so far in connection with this” process, she wrote on Facebook.
I expect this issue to be handled with priority and responsible brought to justice”.
