“As Government we've been racing at two main pillars in our program. Those two pillars were work and justice. As the prime minister presented during the weekend, since last week we had a host of laws passed in the Assembly in terms of field or justice giving in the country, we also have a new measure of employment. It's about employing “family administrators” or primarily about those families that have no employees”.
According to Murati, the past two years have been difficult, as he says, taking over the money we've had ongoing crises”.
And it's not like it's been that easy for the last two years, taking the money that we've had continuous crises starting with pandemics, then electricity as a problem in the past year, and then in the war in Ukraine, so with the Russian invasion in Ukraine, we have the inflationary crisis, so we have the rising prices. As Government, we have tried to take necessary measures to support citizens. We had the economic package. We have also submitted to the Assembly the Law on the minimum wage, which in the case of the transition will also enable the growth of the minimum wage, for the first time in 11 years, and have handed over the international agreement on reform of social assistance schemes, which will enable better reform and treatment for families in need”.
Under that, we've taken the measure of government for households, which will enable businesses that are interested in employing family owners, to support them with 70% of the gross salary, so subsidies are worth up to 300 euros. The salary could be higher, but subsidies 70% of the salary, as high as the maximum subvening 300 euros”.
He has in the end indicated that the criteria must be met to apply for each category.
We'll also publish the criteria to apply for each category. Businesses that want to employ family holders, should be notified at the Labour Agency offices and tell about the number of staff and what positions you need, what are the qualifications. And on the other hand, those who come as family holders should also come to the Labour Agency and thus show what areas they want to work for/have skills so that the Labour Agency can make this union between the two sides”.
