Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti's office has issued a press release after the meeting of Prime Minister and President Osmani with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
According to the announcement, Kurti has spoken with Blinken about Kosovo's achievements, expressing gratitude for the support of the United States of America. As for dialogue with Serbia, Kurti has told Blinkent that Kosovo is being shown construction and creative in this process, as well as committed to legally binding agreement for mutual recognition”.

Within the framework of the official visit to the United States, Republic of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Republic of Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani Sadriou were received at a meeting by US Secretary Antony Blinken.
Secretary Blinken emphasised the stable partnership between the United States and the Republic of Kosovo and thanked leaders for their strong support on issues of importance to the United States of America. He expressed gratitude for the Afghans' admission to Kosovo, support for Ukraine since the early days of Russian aggression there, as well as joint work in other aspects.
Expressing the gratitude of the people of Kosovo for the support of the US, the partnership and alliance between the United States and the Republic of Kosovo was highly praised at the meeting. Excellent state bilateral reports and opportunities for their advancement were highlighted, especially on the economic level, with investment growth and increased trade exchanges.
Prime Minister Kurti stressed that the Republic of Kosovo is a testimony to the dual success, work and sustainability of the people and NATO intervention to stop Serbia's genocide in Kosovo, and secondly, it is the success of a quality democracy that goes along with economic development.
It was talked about good governance, fighting crime and corruption, economic development and social support in response to the needs of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
At the meeting, the democratisation of the region was discussed, as well as empowering valid and political alliances to confront the impacts and risks posed to the Western Balkan region. Kosovo's membership in NATO's Partnership for Peace programme, as well as the establishment of Kosovo's defence and security capacities, was said to contribute to the lasting peace and stability of the entire Western Balkan region.
Praising good co-operation with the US in NATO, it was stressed that defence is an area in which Kosovo has significantly increased the budget. We aim for Kosovo's security to have a partner even undisputed, but always more powerful, Prime Minister Kurti said.
The importance of EU facilitated dialogue on normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia, with mutual recognition at the centre, on the road to Euro-Atlantic integration, was discussed.
At the meeting it was reiterated that the Republic of Kosovo has so far engaged constructively and creatively in the dialogue process, and that it is committed to reaching a legally binding agreement that in the centre has mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia./Periscopi
