There have recently been statements that such a meeting could occur this month, but there is still nothing official.
The European Union in an answer to Telegrafia has said that when they have something concrete they will report over time.
“As always, we will announce every future meeting of dialogue when necessary”, says the EU's response.
Recently a possible meeting, Kurti-Vucciq, this month, mentioned President Vjosa Osmani, during her official visit to Slovenia.
“As far as dialogue with Serbia is concerned, the process is continuing, there have been meetings at the level of the chief negotiators and very soon, I believe during July, but that depends on European facilitators we will also have a meeting at the level of leaders. But the process has continued, it has been constant and very dynamic, and it has also resulted in the energy guide arrangement, which I think is a major achievement in the process. There are also positive developments in the issue of violent missing people that is an important path towards peace and reconciliation throughout the region”, Osmani said.
A possible meeting between Kurti and Vuciqi this month had even mentioned the European Union's special envoy for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, during a visit to Kosovo during the month of June.
“We are working to meet the main leaders of the dialogue, Prime Minister Kurti and President Vuciq, and I would like this to happen before the summer vacation”, Lajcak had declared.
Dialogue players, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, have not met in Brussels since July 2021.
So far, they have held only two meetings and both have not produced any concrete results.
We remember that the process of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia has started since 2011, with the European Union's mediation and support from the United States.
