Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has participated in Kosovo's “table as a multilingual society”.
The first of the government said it is happy to speak as prime minister of a state where people speak many languages and that Kosovo laws guarantee the use of their native languages.
The March 20th <x0th date is celebrated each year by the Turkish community as the anniversary of the start of Turkish language learning in Kosovo in 1951”.
I was in Prizren on April 4th this year, for International Roma Day. There I met Roma - speaking teachers who work in schools, and I heard young men and women reciting in their native language”, Kurti said.
In addition, Kurti said it is working on creating a translation and harmonisation unit within his office, which, according to him, will be functional this year and will ensure quality translations of the laws and sublegal acts in Kosovo's official languages.
We know that much remains to be done in Kosovo. For me as a child, but for my parents and friends and friends, it's extraordinary to hear other languages besides Albanian, and then speak them. I still have that opportunity to talk to Serbs, Bosniaks and others, no matter where I'm at”.
Also, when I get out of Kosovo, Skopje and Shkodra, I have opportunities for communication, political conversation, economics and livelihood. But for most Kosovo children, all these possibilities are no longer in existence. Depending on the English language of YouTube or the gestures and kindness of others”, Kurt is expressed.
