“Tri cafes were shut down at Qom due to numerous violations, including the lack of women's cover and other questions”, the Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps statement, published in the Hamsar newspaper, says.
The cafe owners have been summoned by police before legal actions” are taken, the statement said.
The holy city of Shii, Qom, is home to dozens of religious seminars and high clergy.
Under Islamic law implemented in Iran after the 1979 revolution, women must wear a hyjab that covers their heads and necks by hiding their hair.
Many have not fully observed this rule, where over the years they have allowed their head coverings to slide and discover more hair, especially in Tehran and other large cities.
