The government makes the decision to authorise Artane Rizvanol for signing agreement with MCC

“The decision adopted at this meeting concerns the “Millennium Challenges Challenge Compact “, for authorising the Minister of Economy from the President of the Republic of Kosovo for signing of the Co-finance Agreement and the Project Implementation Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the United States of America, represented by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). The government of the Republic of Kosovo has successfully completed negotiating the Co-finance Agreement and the Agreement for Implementation of the “Millennium Challenge Compact”. The main objective of this project is to ensure the stability of Kosovo's electricity supply and transition to cleaner energy in the future. The next objective of the project is to build capacities in the field of energy and raise the employment of women in this area”, the report said.
While, with the first decision, the draft Bill for Ratification of the Co-finance Agreement for the Study of Fisability and the Project of the Durres-Pristina Railways has been adopted.
The aim of this agreement is to define procedures and the division of costs between the parties for financing the project's Financial Study, responsible for implementing the Memorandum of Understanding between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo”, the report said.
