The Constitutional Court's Specialised Chamber has rejected the complaint of Peter Shala, who claimed violations of his fundamental rights by rejecting the jurisdiction of this room.
The panel, consisting of judges Vidar Stansland, Rumen Nenkov and Romina Inquiti, has concluded that this reference is premature, so it declared it unacceptable under Article 113 (7) of the Constitutional Court's Article 49 (3) of the Law and Rule 14 (f) of the Constitutional Court's Specialised Jobs.
Peter Shala, last year on March 16, 2021, was arrested in Belgium, and on April 15th of that year he was transferred to The Hague.
Shala is charged with counts of war crimes as cruel treatment, torture and unlawful murder committed in the context of the armed conflict in Kosovo and in connection with this conflict.
