News of his death was revealed through a post on Pristina Foundation Court's social Facebook network.

Daut Qela was judge at the General Department at the Foundation Court in Pristina-Dega in Glogovac.
Judge Qela graduated from the Jurydical Faculty, University of Pristina in 1984. The testing of jurisdiction ended in 2002, as the professional practice took place as a legal adviser to NGOs ADRA in 2000.
By the end of 2000, he was appointed judge at the Municipal Court for Countercument in Glogoc, where he worked until 2012. With 01.01.2013, Judge Qela has been appointed judge at the General Department at the Constitutional Court in Pristina, the Glogoc branch, which he held proudly until the last moments of his life.
