The former mayor had forgotten to issue construction permits.

Then state police intervene and request construction permission. Unfortunately, there was no building permit. So Lulzim Basha or his municipal employees were not prepared for construction permits, and thus it was blocked”, the sculptor said.

Balani tried to take note of Tirana's current mayor, but his every attempt has proved unsuccessful.

“Then I made some interventions through some friends and deputies and the decision was made that September will be decided but remained in municipal competence. No one was heard from the municipality. Then I take over and give a letter to the mayor of Tirana, Mr. Erjon Veliaj”, he indicated.

Not to mention the monetary expenses that Balani has not yet received, he has had to see for nine years a huge job in a hotel parking lot. /Euronews Albania
