Throughout his testimony the hearing has followed private with the court's decision, Mapie Veldt Foglia.
At this session it also became known that Salih Mustaf's family will visit him during the coming week.
After completing questions for the protected witness at the closed session, Salih Mustaf's lawyer, Julius Von Bone, has announced that Mustafa is expected to be visited by his family next week.
He has said that for this reason, Mustafa cannot participate in hearings if the same are held in days when his family remains in The Hague.
“A will have session or conference on the performance of the issue on June 8th or 9th, Mustafa cannot be present because his family comes and it is the only chance to meet with his family. It's hard for the family to come anytime, so it's important. They come from the 6th and stay until Sunday”, Von Bone said.
In this regard, the head of the court, Mapie Veldt Foglia, has said there will be court announcements on the schedule.
Salih Mustafa is staying in custody at The Hague from September 24th 2020, when he was arrested.
At the beginning of this process, Salih Mustafa, who faces charges of alleged war crimes, had been declared innocent before the court.
In this trial, 13 witnesses of the Specialised Prosecutor's Office have been heard, many of them protected and in closed or edited sessions. And Salih Mustafa's defense has presented 15 witnesses.
