Photo Alexander Ermochenko and cameraman Pavel Klimov were travelling on Friday in a car provided by Russian-backed forces in Russia's street-controlled section between Severodonnetsk and the town of Rubizhne, writes Aljazeera.
They were taken to a hospital in Rubinzhne, where they received the initial treatment, Ermochenko for a small cut wound and Klimov for a wing fracture.
The Reuters agency disclosed that it could not immediately determine the identity of the driver, who was appointed by separatists for the reporting trip.
