During a speech at the European Forum Wachau, on Europe's “theme, and EU enlargement”, held in Vienna, Austria, Rama stressed that Albania has been a candidate country for eight years and hopes that Ukraine will not be 117 years old.

I hope that for Ukraine it's not 117 years”, Rama has indicated.
Among other things, Rama again stopped in Bulgaria's veto of northern Macedonia, which prevented Albania from opening negotiations.
According to Rama, what happened with Bulgaria was the symbol, how enlargement has been transformed into a tool to take other states hostage, for the sake of internal problems.
