Periscop has reported that a 16 million tender for maintenance of two highways, which was managed by MMPHI Deputy Minister Hysen Durmishi and Nexhat Krasniqi's chief of procurement at the ministry, has become the target of internal investigation into the ministry led by Lieburn Aliu.
Days earlier, Periscopi had reported on a 16 million tender on which doubts were cast for favouring people close to the procurement chief, Nexhat Krasniqi, who was caused last week.
On the day we initiate the investigation into the 16 million tender, we get the answers to”, Aliu said in T7, arguing about the wiretapping link.
This tender was managed by Mr. Krasniqi and Deputy Prime Minister Hysen Durmish. The allegations of complaining companies were that, the winner had been declared companies more expensive than some cheaper bids.
Periscopi has learned from informed sources at the ministry that Minister Lieburn Aliu has authorized two audiences and a department director to view the entire process of this procurement procedure.
MMPHI has two audit units. That's after two ministries have joined one. One unit of auditing is infrastructure and the other is environment. In this case, the minister has not only authorised the infrastructure unit but has sent one person from the environment to audit the procedure. The department's director, Luan Sabedinaj, and the two infrastructure audiences -- Minere Gashi and Ajjet Mehmeti” -- said one source within the ministry for Periscope.
