Krasniqi: On the Day of Deliverance, we wish the KLA founders, who are not near us today.

The first of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, has been declared in connection with 23rd anniversary of Kosovo's liberation by Serbian occupier

In a Facebook post, Krasniqi has congratulated KLA founders Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselin, Jakup Krasniqi and Recep Selimin “, who are not near us today”.

He said 23 years ago he ended the eternal captivity and suffering of the people of Kosovo forever.

Hashim Thaci's successor and Kadri Veselini expressed gratitude to NATO, the US and other democratic states.

Today, Kosovo marks Freedom Day. 23 years ago, the captivity of the centuries - old suffering of our people was permanently brought to an end.

23 years ago, a new time of freedom began for Kosovo, which paved the way for the country's construction and development. Thus, we rebuilt burned homes, new schools, roads, and highways, but we also built administrations, police, and the military.

We lived together in the dream of many generations for state and independence. For free Kosovo, with equal opportunities for all its citizens.

On this journey, we are eternally grateful to our friends who stood by us, NATO of the US and other democratic states.

But, especially today, we bow down to the sacrifice of many generations of martyrs, martyrs, prisoners, activists and Albanian intellectuals who engaged in this day and day.

We honour with eternal respect the fair fight of the Kosovo Liberation Army, our heroes, whom Kosovo was most dear.

Today, this blessed day, we also wish KLA founders Hashim Thaci and Kadri Veselin, Jakup Krasniqi and other rescuers, who are unjustly not near us today.

These centuries - old sacrifices that continue today constantly remind us of the high price of freedom and our obligation to cherish and preserve it.
