The East Border Police Unit last night, during surveys in unexpected ambushes, has managed to observe and then has forwarded goods through illegal mountain roads from Northern Macedonia to the Republic of Kosovo.
Police have banned a closed transport (forgon) in which they found and seized:
- Engine oil 50 bidona x 20l = 1000 litres
- Divan (mobile) two = 10 pieces
- Divan (mobile) one = 40 pieces
- Table (mobile) = 2 pieces, as well
- Different parts for furniture.
The Border Police Unit, with support from regional investigations and in co-operation with the state prosecutor, is working on investigating the case, as well as preventing such cases.
The confiscated goods are handed over to Kosovo Customs for further procedures.
