Ischinger has said so through a post in his official account at Twitter '%, demanding that all EU member states recognise Kosovo.
“Bravo Olaf Scholz : Belgrade's clear language on the topic of recognising Kosovo from Serbia! However, it would be more useful if all EU members knew Kosovo first: there is still much to do!”, wrote former EU representative, citing German Foreign Affairs Minister Anna Baerbock, as well as former Kosovo MPJ minister Enver Hoxhaj in tweets.

Scholz, during his visit to Kosovo -- the first in the position of Chancellor -- said he sees the integration of two non-recognising states into the EU as unimaginable.
The same statement was repeated in Belgrade at a joint conference with Vucinqi.
To that request, the Serbian president, surprised to say in the presence of Scholz, said no one in Europe has asked Serbia for mutual recognition.
No one in Europe has ever spoken of mutual recognition of Serbia and Kosovo. We heard that for the first time today at a press conference in Pristina, it's a big surprise for us”, he said.
In defense of Belgrade following the German government's statement, Moscow came. “Belgrade owes nothing to Brussels”, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said, commenting on Scholz's statement on the need for Serbia to recognise Kosovo's independence in order to join the European Union.
“A are these enemies of Serbia?”, Zakharova asks, adding that the West is indebted to Serbs. Serbian people are already being told what to do and how to do. What happens next?
The requirement for legally binding recognition has been repeated dozens of times also by German top diplomat, US President Joe Biden, and top international diplomats.
