In a statement to media from North Macedonia's Ohrid, Rama underlined that no one takes Kosovo's place in the open Balkans.
Kosovo is sovereign and makes its own decisions for itself. The country for Kosovo in the Open Balkans is there. Nobody gets it, nobody fills it unless Kosovo fills it. I don't mean anything more because what I had to say I told him. The invitation is always open, but I fully respect the Kosovo authorities' decision to leave the location empty”, the government head said.
Regarding the failure to open negotiations, Rama indicated it is the fact that the European Union has stalled this process.
This is no accusation. It is a fact that the European Union has dragged us on, that the EU gives its word and does not keep in relation to the integration process, that I am the last to say because representatives of the European Union themselves have said it”, Rama said. /Euronews
