The Damka ministry denies allegations of misuse of 1.1m euros: Are opportunities for support

Reaction regarding the Kosovo Democratic Party's declaration regarding the Memorandum of Co-operation between the Regional Development Ministry and the Swiss Caritas.

The support of youth in schools, the reintegration of repatriateds and co-operation with the exiles as the main goals of this memorandum of co-operation are not abuses but opportunities for the support of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.

Explaining the public opinion, the Regional Development Ministry has a Memorandum of Co-operation with Caritasin Switzerland's Kosovo-registered International Organisation, the Caritas Swiss, is a member of the Caritaa international network. It consists of 165 organisations worldwide, in addition, European Caritas organisations have joined in Brussels to form Caritas Europe.

As a result of the MZHR Memorandium co-operation between the MZHR and the Swiss Swiss until two MARDI and YEN projects, where the Swiss Caritasi covers the largest amount of funding worth 1,56000.000, which comes from Switzerland, and the Regional Development Ministry co-finifies these two projects, worth 347,000.00 per year for 2022-24.

Switzerland's Caritas implements projects in Kosovo for more than 20 years. In the strategic period 20210)2025, Caritas Switzerland plans to implement projects based on the needs of the country and its population, as well as on the long experience of Switzerland's Caritas in Kosovo. The focus of its work is oriented on income generation themes (particularly food security/business, education and professional training, migration, reintegration of repatriated persons, and employment motives).

As a result of this co-operation, Caritas Zviceran has expanded co-operation, even with a number considered political municipalities and colorless.
