Let's go as institutions, as personalities representing our Republic, see how they are treated, even though in some respects it is seen that the Special Court is violating their rights. As long as you consider the fact that they've been approaching the time of two years since they were taken, they're being kept isolated, they haven't been granted protection a freedom. It's not safe to start the trial process... all this will talk to Mr. President. Thaci, Mr. Vessel, Mr. Krasniqi and Mr. Selimi”, Conjufca told RTSH.
Otherwise, Konjufca's visit to The Hague has been confirmed days earlier by his cabinet's chief, Ilir Krquei.
“Baska with Chief Parliamentary Konjufca on 17 June we travel to visit former KLA leaders in The Hague”, he has said.
Last month, Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu stayed at The Hague, but former President Hashim Thaci and former Prime Minister Kadri Wessel refused to meet with him.
