Major General Bajram Begaj was born on March 20th 1967, in Rrogozhina. In 1989, Major General Begaj has completed his studies at the University of Tirana, the Faculty of Medicine, the General Medicine, and has been named active officer in the <x0 micocyst” m. ” in 1998.
Before he took over the post of Chief of General Staff, general general prof. Dude. Bajram Begaj, for a period of three years, has served in the task of commander of the Doctrine and Training Command.
During his military career, Major General Bajram Begaj has served in various leadership positions in the Armed Forces, such as Deputy Director of the University Hospital Centre “Mother Teresa”; General Director of Central University Military Hospital; Director of Health Inspectorate, Chief Inspector and Health Inspector at the FAA General Staff; Chief of Military Medical Unit and Deputy Director of the University of Trauma Hospital, as well as other duties at the Armed Forces facilities.
Major General Begaj has attended various qualifications and specialisations in the military and medical field, in educational institutions both at home and abroad. It has completed the High Course for Security and Protection near the Academy of Armed Forces, the Educated School of Medicine and postgraduate specialisation in the Gastrohepatology account, near the Tirana Faculty of Medicine.
It has also followed the course of hospital management and the course of strategic medical leadership in the United States, the International Defence Management Course, to the Institute of Defence Management at the U.S. Marine Passive School, the High Executive Semitary near the Marshall Centre, Germany, and other military qualifications.
General Bajram Begaj, has completed the “Doctorate at Medical Field”, near the Faculty of Medicine, as well as holds the title “Asociated professor” in Medicine. At the same time, he was awarded different medals for achievements during his military career.
Major General Begaj has attended various qualifications and specialisations in the military and medical field, in educational institutions both at home and abroad. The last one was a visit to the Pentagon, a visit to a high level.
Bajram Begaj is an associate professor of medicine. He married Armanda Begaj and together they have two children.
Begaj's name as a potential candidate for the head of state has circulated about four weeks ago, but over days his name fades as the most favourable candidates were named Ardian Dorani and Majlinda Bregu.
