Kurti has thanked the British minister for the continued support of the United Kingdom for Kosovo “in all phases: liberation, reconstruction, independence, development and democratisation”.
At this meeting, the Office for the Prime Minister's Media reports announced, the bilateral reports between the two states and deepening reports have also been discussed.
Co-operation in the field of defence and security has also been discussed. Prime Minister Kurti has expressed Kosovo's gratitude for supporting professional defence institutions, especially the Sandhurst Defence Academy for career and professional schooling.
Speaking about security issues, the challenges stemming from the invasion and unprotested Russian aggression in Ukraine were highlighted.
Prime Minister Kurti said that the Republic of Kosovo is lined up alongside the democratic world, the United Kingdom, the European Union and the United States of America, condemning the attack and imposing sanctions on the Russian Federation.
He has also stressed government assistance for Ukraine, providing housing for 5,000 refugees and working conditions for 20 Ukrainian journalists, four of whom have already settled in Kosovo and are continuing to deal with their profession.
