As newspaper Express learns from the sources, concerning this visit to Rotterdam, the LDK has also requested assistance from the Kosovo Embassy in the Netherlands, however, were ignored by the Embassy there with the reason that “are busy at The Hague”.
This is not the first time Kosovo representatives abroad ignore opposition party delegations going for official visits abroad.
Even AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj has directed charges at the Kosovo Embassy's address in Washington, saying the latter have offered no assistance despite the fact that former Prime Minister Haradinaj's visit to the US had been announced.
Haradinaj had indicated that he was ignored by the embassy in Washington and also by the Kosovo consulate in New York, and, according to the former prime minister, such actions of Kosovo representatives may have been done with the directives of Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
“I was president of government twice, even though February, I am very respectful of my obligations, now even as an MP I have long announced the Kosovo Embassy in Washington for my agenda. Government Kurt knew about my meeting with Mr. Escobar two weeks ago. So I hid no details of my commitment. I also asked logistics, assistance from the Embassy, but to tell you the truth, I was ignored by the Kosovo Embassy in Washington, and I was completely distracted by the consulate in New York, probably with Kurti” directives, Haradinaj said after the meeting he had with State Department emissar Gabriel Escobar in Washington.
Otherwise Abdixhiku and the LDK delegation have attended the two-day congress of European political parties EPP, where its new chairman, Manfred Weber, was elected, who took the confidence of over 447 delegates out of a total of 502 EPP delegates.
Sic has announced the LDK chief there with the sponsorship of the largest Austrian party, Die Volkspartei (ÖVP) Austrian Chancellor Carl Nehammer's party, voting resolutions in support of Kosovo visa liberalisation
