New War Face, Ukrainian Defence Minister Says to Arm One million Fighters

Defence Minister in Ukraine Olexey Reznikov said on Friday that his country has already entered a new phase of war in the face of Russian invaders.

During a press conference, Reznikov committed himself that Ukraine already plans to arm a million fighters using the new military weapons and equipment the US and other Western countries have donated to the country over the past two weeks.

The defence minister said that during the start of the war, volunteers were extremely effective, and thanks to their intervention many pressing issues found solutions.

Reznikov said that to win, Ukraine must carefully plan resources and avoid mistakes and are investing in Ukrainian production facilities to ensure the stability and frequency of remittances.

“Establishing pressure on sanctions against Russia and increasing foreign aid to Ukraine must create, within months, the conditions under which the Kremlin will finally lose all chances of achieving any success. A new window of possibilities for Ukraine will then appear. In this extremely difficult period, we need unity, cohesion, will and patience”, he concluded. /A2 CNN
