The Ukrainian Defence Ministry announced on Wednesday that the 93th Mechanised Brigade of the Ukrainian Army “has held a parade of Russian trophy tanks, undermining the holiday for invaders”, referring to Victory Day.

Russia's annual Victory Day, held on 9 May, commemorates the Soviet Union's victory over Nazi Germany in World War II.

In his speech, Putin attacked NATO enlargement, accused the US of aggression and called Ukraine and its Nazi leaders claims he used earlier to justify the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
