Turkey gives full support for Kosovo's membership in Council of Europe

Defence Minister Armend Mehaj, during his visit to Turkey, has met with counterpart Hulus Akar, who has given Turkey's support for Kosovo's membership in the Partnership for Peace, NATO, the Council of Europe, as well as other regional and wider organisations.
At the meeting, talks were discussed on intensifying co-operation between the two defence ministries and both forces, which is in the function of peace and stability in the region.
The two ministers also talked about geopolitical developments, following Russia's military aggression in Ukraine and its influence in terms of security and stability in the region and beyond.
Mehaj thanked his counterpart for the role and contribution of Turkey's Ministry of National Defence, to the construction and development of the Ministry of Defence and KSF, and on the other hand, Turkish Defence Minister reiterated Turkey's continued support for the Ministry of Defence and KSF.
