Former President Teuta Hadri is the next defence witness to Salih Mustafa at the Specialised Chambers of Kosovo in The Hague.
It is answering the questions of Mustafa's defence attorney, Betim Shala, about the events of March and April 1999.
Over April 1999, on April 1st, Serbian forces have dragged me out like our entire population by violence from my home, it's about April 1st, just as all residents of the residences have been forced out, they have committed major crimes throughout Kosovo since 1998. I'm not going to describe the crimes I've seen and I'm a living witness to those events I've experienced myself, I'm not a media-speaking witness, but I'm a living witness that I've experienced with my own eye and my own”, Hadri said.
Hadri is the 14th defence witness.
I wanted to go to war to help because I was a professional doctor, I was a humanitarian, and I really needed to help those people”, she added.
