Days earlier, Periscopi had reported on a 16 million tender on which doubts were cast for favouring people close to procurement chief Nexhat Krasniqi, who, according to reports, has been placed on the reserve list of procurement officials.
This tender was managed by Mr. Krasniqi and Deputy Prime Minister Hysen Durmish. The allegations of complaining companies were that the winner had been announced More Expensive Companies than some offers that were cheaper.
Periscope has learned from well-informed sources at the ministry that Minister Lieburn Aliu has authorized two auditoriums and a department director to see the entire process of this procurement procedure.
MMPHI has two audit units. That's after two ministries have joined one. One unit of auditing is infrastructure and the other is environment. In this case, the minister has not only authorised the infrastructure unit but has sent one person from the environment to audit the procedure. The department's director, Luan Sabedinaj, and two infrastructure auditors -- Minere Gashi and Ajjet Mehmeti” -- said one source within the Ministry for Periscope.

On April 24th, the ministry has made “notation on the decision of contracting Authority”. This means that the announcement of companies recommended for the contract has been made:
Lot 1: Group of companies with leaders “Lake Company” KPS & “Lake Trade”
Lot 3. Group of companies, with company leader “Damastion Project” shpk & “Via” & “Company Eskavator”.
Lot 4. Group of companies with company leader “Arbotec” KPS & “Arbotec GMBH” Dega in Kosovo.
When companies disagree with the ministry's decision, they have the right to apply for review within the deadlines, and, of course, within the deadlines it is expected that the ministry will respond.
