The party's political spokeswoman, Sübel Halimi, has said that fact, according to her, makes it even more disturbing when these attacks come from power.
The International Organisations, as well as the US State Department Report, have raised their concerns about press freedom in Kosovo, suggesting that journalists are facing threats and intimidation during their work exercise”, she has said.
Halimi has written that International Press Freedom Day requires a mutual and powerful commitment to the respect and appreciation of this freedom, as one of the main pillars for a real democracy.
“Days like this serve as a moment of reflection on creating journalists' security and raising the awareness of all the important role journalists have in our country”.
