The Democratic League of Kosovo has estimated that Health Minister Rifat Latifi is spending most of his time outside Kosovo, even though our country is facing major problems in the health system.
The LDK has written on Facebook that it has taken place six months since Rifat Latifi has been appointed to head the Ministry of Health, and the only concrete results so far are only arrivals of the minister abroad.
The minister of health, most of his time, is spending it outside Kosovo, even though our country is facing major problems in the health system. In its first six months of governance alone, over 1,000 health workers have remained in the last three months without pay; 45 doctors have left Kosovo for only one month; now one year the Health Ministry has opened no competition for specialisations from the medical field, while for just two months over 200 citizens of our country have sought healing abroad”, he wrote.
