Through a Facebook text, Meta demanded that this historic opportunity be turned into a success for Kosovo.
“fully supporting Kosovo in this process, I call on all Albanian institutions to mobilise and make every effort to turn this historic opportunity into success. The EC's Kosovo member will be an added value for peace, security and democracy in our region and Europe”, Meta wrote.
He added that Kosovo meets all principles a state must have to join the EC.
Kosovo today fully embodys the basic principles of the EC related to democracy, human rights and the rule of law. ”
We remember that yesterday, Kosovo Foreign Minister Donika Grovalla, has submitted the official application for membership from Strasbourg in France until an exact date for the vote of this proposal has not been granted.
