Chairman PDK, Memli Krasniqi, along with collaborators, honoured Fazliu's work, which he described as one of the emblems of Kosovo freedom and liberation.

Kosovo Liberation Army veterans also paid tributes near the hero's grave in Velani, Pristina.
The incumbent chairman of the KLA Veterans' Association, Faton Klink, said that it should never be forgotten that today's freedom is due to the sacrifice of all martyrs.
When we honor the martyrs, of course we should remember that as a result of their war, their sacrifice, we also enjoy this freedom we have today, even though this freedom would have to be within itself even that which our liberation war had, our struggle had to do with freedom from the conqueror and the unification of our Albanian troops”, Klinaku said.
On behalf of the family, Bahriu's nephew Fahri Fazliu spoke, who thanked all citizens who had come to honor the work of the hero.
We commemorate today the 24th anniversary of the national hero Bahri Fazliu, one of the ideologists of the Albanian national issue. On behalf of the Fazlius, we thank all who have taken the time to participate in prayer to honor the national hero Bahri Fazliu. Once again, we thank all present”, he said.
Bahri Fazliu was brother of the hero Fahri Fazliou, who on November 2, 1989, along with Africa Ziitina was heroicly involved in a battle with Serbian police in Pristina's “Bregu of the Sun”.
